Ruth Gregory was formerly a litigation partner at a respected West Auckland firm. She has now practised as Barrister Sole and Mediator at Halcyon Chambers in Ponsonby, Auckland for over six years.
Ruth believes that family law should be about resolutions, and is focused on the well-being and mana of the people involved.
The Court regularly appoints her to act as a lawyer for children and also people lacking capacity. Ruth is currently a member of the panel of counsel for the Royal Commission of Inquiry into Abuse in Care.
She has extensive experience in complex relationship property, trust, and estate litigation in both the Family and High Courts.
With her calm, clear and decisive manner, she offers her 16+ years of specialised family experience and her previous background in employment and property to all family and relationship property matters. Ruth will assist to navigate a resolution, no matter how challenging or difficult the circumstances may seem.
